Be careful, the blades are very sharp. It doesn't come with a top, either. The glass carafe itself is the same as the original as far as I can tell. When receiving the new Blender Glass and putting in the blades, nothing worked well with the motor of the orinal blender.We loved Waring and had a great experience through the years, but when we received the new Blender Glass, we had to go out and buy a NEW blender.
